Cancellation Policy
We value your time and our resources, which is why we strive to offer you dedicated attention during your appointments. For initial consultations, we allocate up to 60 minutes, and for follow-ups, 30-45 minutes. However, when appointments are missed or canceled last minute, it disrupts our schedule and affects other patients waiting to be seen.
To mitigate this, we kindly request your credit card information upon scheduling an appointment. Rest assured, your information is securely stored and will only be used in the event of a late cancellation or a no-show.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, so we ask for at least 48 business hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. A late cancellation within this timeframe will incur a $50 fee. Cancellations on the same day as the appointment or missed appointments will result in the full consultation fee being charged.
Once you have completed your care with us, your credit card information will be promptly discarded. We prioritize your privacy and aim to provide a seamless experience while ensuring the availability of our services to all our patients. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Insurance information
We regret to inform you that we are not affiliated with any insurance plans, thus we do not engage in insurance billing. This decision stems from a misalignment between our healthcare principles and the predominant disease-centric philosophies prevalent in the current US insurance landscape.
Our focus lies in fostering health, vitality, self-healing, prevention, and promoting personal responsibility. Entrusting a system that diverges from these values with our patients' health decisions does not align with our ethos.
However, we are committed to transparency and will gladly furnish you with a detailed receipt containing ICD-10 and CPT codes for each visit, should you wish to pursue reimbursement independently.
Here is some info on how to get insurance coverage for Naturopathic medicine
In many states, Naturopathic physicians are licensed to practice medicine. Therefore, unless your insurance policy specifically excludes naturopaths, by law they must cover the services. Because naturopathic physicians are usually not included on the list of covered providers, the reimbursement you will receive will usually be an “out of network” reimbursement.
To find out if your insurance company will cover your naturopathic medical services, there are a few things you can do.
1. Look at your policy.
If the “Definition of Physician” in your policy does not specifically either exclude naturopathic physicians, or limit the definition to specific providers other than naturopaths, then you should, by law, be covered for your naturopathic services.
2. Call your insurance company.
The following are a few suggestions of what to say/ask while on the phone:
Does my policy cover services performed by a licensed naturopathic physician?
(they will typically say no, because many agents are unaware of what naturopathic medicine is)
Does the “definition of physician” in my policy specifically exclude naturopathic physicians?
(ask them to fax you a copy of the definition)
Does the definition limit services to specific health care providers? Which ones?
If your policy covers naturopathic medical services, simply file your claim as you would any other medical claims. We can provide you with any necessary diagnostic codes, procedure codes, etc.
If your policy does not cover naturopathic medical services, you can try to modify your policy. Most insurance companies will write a plan to cover naturopathic medicine, but you must request the coverage, depending on if your plan is an individual plan or a group plan.
Individual Plan
Ask your agent to add coverage for naturopathic services. There may be a small charge for this service ranging from nothing to a few cents a month.
Group Plan
Most insurance companies do not charge anything extra to cover naturopathic services on a group plan. Tell this to your employer, union, or human resources director, and ask that naturopathic physicians be added to your plan. If necessary, organize and educate your coworkers on the value and benefit if naturopathic medicine.

Cancellation Policy:
Our appointments are exclusively booked for you for up to 60 minutes if it is an initial consult and 30-45 minutes if it is a follow up. If you do not cancel your appointment on time, it is wasted time and resources for us. Hence, we ask for your credit card information when you schedule an appointment to prevent a no-show. Please call us 48 business hours in advance for any cancellations or to reschedule. There will be a fee of $50 for late cancellation within 48 business hours of appointment. Cancellation on the same day of the appointment or a missed appointment will result in a full consultation fee being charged.
Your card information is secure with us and will be discarded once you are discharged from our care and will NOT be charged unless you miss your appointment or do not cancel at least 48 hours before your appointment.

Financial Policy:
Our fees schedule is kept affordable for one and all to bring natural, quality care to everyone. Failure to adhere to our financial policy will result in us not being able to keep our fees low and serve the community.
Our appointments are scheduled exclusively for each patient and it is very difficult for us to offer the reserved time to someone else without proper notice so we ask that you give at least a 48-hour notice when canceling an appointment. If appointments are canceled/rescheduled within 48 hours of the appointment, there will be a $50 fee charged to your account. If the patient or cancels/reschedules on the day of the appointment or does not show up for the appointment, the full consultation fee will be charged.
We want to make sure health is available to one and all. So, if you are financially disadvantaged at this time, please send your 3 latest bank statements and paystubs and we will work with you to come up with a payment option that you can afford to get healthy again.
Insurance information
We are not a covered provider on any insurance plan, so we do not offer any insurance billing. There are many reasons for this, but the main one is because our health-care intentions and philosophies are not at all aligned with the intentions and disease-care philosophies of the current insurance world in the US. We are focused on health, vitality, self healing, prevention, and personal responsibility. We do not feel comfortable allowing a system that does not share these same values to be in control of our patients’ choices and decisions when it comes to their personal health. We will, however, provide a receipt with ICD-10 codes and CPT codes for each patient visit if you want to submit a claim yourself.
